WHAT A SHAME
What a shame, they deny your name,
What a shame, they deny your pain,
What a shame, they can’t see there adored,
I cry for them and for you sweet, sweet Lord,
What a shame, they deny your call,
And your blood, which you shed to save all,
What a shame, some sheep will remain,
Lost to your Love, Your precious touch,
What a shame, no matter how hard you try,
Some will walk past the path that lies,
Beyond the golden doors and to the mercy seat,
Which within Our Blessed Father waits,
To forgive and welcome those who stray,
What a shame, for all humanity,
What a shame, when all it takes,
Is a will to feel your light,
What a shame, some may never know,
With you sweet Lord……….I cry.
