TO GODS FACE I AWAKE



To Gods face I awake, and open up my eyes,
My beliefs and conscience,
Follow the teachings of Jesus Christ,
I know from whom I came,
Where I yearn to return,

Live inside our very souls,
Instinctively aware of Gods grace,
Our hearts and spirits know,
We need not wonder why,
To our loving creator,
Our heritage is traced,

In the image of God, we are born,
Yet as we struggle, upon his earth,
We pull away, from the truth of our birth,
We fall asleep, in the face of our Lord,
Forgetting what, he sent us here for,
He reminds us, as he calls our name,
The time has come, to stand by his side,
