ON OUR WAY BACK HOME The scenery so lovely as I pass beneath Gods sky, The green lush grass and wild flowers thriving, Upon the mountain sides, The ripples in the lake tell me, Of a soft, willowing breeze, The sound of music fills the air birds singing happily, God, the author of such beauty, Knew so long ago, That one day on my way to work, I would want to just head back home!!!!! God knew how to restore my strength, Touching my heart in his special way, I am brought back to a humble place, His beauty and majesty bring my soul to rest, As he planned this earth for his word in flesh, Such gentle tugging, in which he leads, To continue my path with Jesus beside me, He created a pasture his sheep to graze, Beyond the azure of our daily haze, He supplies us with the fruits of his tree, So we might see his love spiritually, Oh, he knew so long ago, That I would need a gentle reminding, That we are all already, On our way back home
