My children please take heed,
I am your Father,
Your merciful creator,
You must turn to me,

Things will get better
In the times to come,
Yet when you have trials
To me you must run,

I say this because I love you so,
Not as some token gift,
I truly want you to understand
And to know,
Your soul does forever live,

Some of you feel lost, alone,
It breaks my heart,
To see such sorrow,
I bring you light into your dark,
Yet you glance away taking no part,

Look deeply and you will find,
I know all of your needs,
It’s been a laborious climb,
A perilous journey,
Yet you have traveled so far,

You must not remove your eyes from me,
Focus on love your anguish will recede,

Back into the pit where it belongs,
You are my child,
I will not steer you wrong,
I am your Father,
Please take heed,
Your soul forever lives,
You must trust in Me
