DESCENDING FROM HEAVEN



Descending from heaven like angels with wings,
God’s spirit is upon us,
He is all that we need,
When we are in pain from the warring of sin,
He comes to our rescue,
Lifting us up, loosening the chains,
Opening the door and windows again and again,

He brings comfort and peace to our weary souls,
Making them shine bright in the darkness foretold,
He is our beacon of light,
God shines for us his heavenly rays,
When we want to give up the fight,
He knows we can overcome and shows us the way,

No pit is too deep, no wall is too high,
No heart is too broken, no desert is too dry,
No face is too hidden, no soul is too lost,
God radiates his love,
From Jesus’ light upon the cross,
